Job Title: LOA/Disability Case Manager Specialist

Elevance Health is seeking a highly skilled LOA/Disability Case Manager Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for coordinating the administration of Short-term Disability and FMLA plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides timely and thorough review of Short-term Disability, FMLA, and ADA claims and makes professional determinations
  • Manages the workflow for a large number of claims to ensure equitable workload distribution and administering of claims within department standards
  • Provides advocacy case management to all appropriate LOA claims
  • Manages high impact LOA claims to identify obstacles and opportunities for returning associates to work
  • Works with medical providers, LOA clinic resources, managers, and Local HR to determine return to work expectations and facilitate the return to work process
Requirements:
  • BA degree and a minimum of 4 years' experience in health and welfare benefits, disability management, HR operations, and/or benefits administration
  • Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred
  • Experience working through the ADA process end-to-end preferred
  • Workday experience preferred
  • ServiceNow experience preferred
