Job Summary

Ochsner Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the 5W Med Tele unit. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and promoting a culture of excellence and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Utilize evidence-based practice and critical thinking to make informed decisions and improve patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Current RN license in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Preferred: Certification in clinical specialty area.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
