Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT examinations, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform CT examinations, selecting proper technical factors and ensuring accurate and high-quality images
  • Prepare patients for procedures, maintaining modesty and safety
  • Assist in the administration of contrast media and other related procedures
  • Document clinical information, obtain informed consent, and complete required fields within MEDITECH
  • Remain proficient in executing software protocols and stay up-to-date with changes in the field
  • Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, including radiologists
  • Check equipment, maintain cleanliness, and keep the room stocked with necessary supplies
  • Accept on-call and call-back responsibilities as needed
Requirements
  • Vocational/Technical education in Radiologic Technology
  • Valid ARRT (R) certification; ARRT (CT) certification
  • Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to perform work requiring frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and/or lifting of patients/equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years current/recent experience as a CT Technologist, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting
