We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Level II Trauma Center.
About the Role:
- Operate CT scanners, pressure injectors, resuscitation equipment, laser filmers, and teleradiology systems with sound and thorough knowledge.
- Prepare, transfer, and position patients safely and with modesty, utilizing auxiliary equipment and devices as needed.
- Document all pertinent clinical information, obtain informed consent, and complete required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time.
- Obtain high-quality CT images, ensuring only optimal images are submitted for interpretation.
- Remain proficient in executing software protocols and stay up-to-date with changes in the field through in-service study, attending courses or seminars as necessary.
- Check equipment operation, maintain cleanliness of tables/equipment, and keep rooms stocked with linens and necessary supplies.
Requirements:
- Active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
- Minimum of 1-3 years current/recent experience as a CT Technologist, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting
- Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and/or lifting of patients/equipment up to 50 lbs.
