Soliant is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide direct physical therapy services to students in need. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping students improve their mobility, strength, and coordination within the school environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct assessments to identify students' physical needs and create individualized therapy plans.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, motor skills, and physical functioning.
- Monitor student progress and make necessary adjustments to therapy plans.
- Collaborate with teachers and other school personnel to integrate therapeutic activities into the classroom.
- Provide guidance and training to school staff and families to support student success.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress.
- PT: Doctorate or Masters Degree in Physical Therapy and a valid PT license in Massachusetts.
- PTA: Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy Assistance and a valid PTA license in Massachusetts.
- Previous experience in a pediatric or school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
