Community Outreach Specialist

The ACCS Community Connector will play a vital role in ensuring successful community integration by connecting adults with psychiatric conditions with available community resources. This position requires a strong understanding of human services and the ability to provide support and guidance to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a commitment to promoting recovery and resiliency.
Key Responsibilities
* Connect adults with psychiatric conditions with community resources and services
* Provide support and guidance to individuals in need
* Work with ACCS staff to ensure successful community integration
* Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and resources
* Provide interventions to support individuals in preparing for, seeking, and keeping wanted employment and/or educational opportunities
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in human services or related field
* 2-3 years of experience working with adults with psychiatric conditions
* Access to an operational and insured vehicle and willingness to use it to transport individuals
* Bilingual/bicultural applicants and applicants with lived experience of psychiatric conditions are preferred
