About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Relationship Banker II to join our team at Ballston Spa National Bank. As a key member of our banking team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, identifying their financial needs, and suggesting appropriate banking services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, completing deposit and loan transactions, and performing other service-related functions.
  • Identify customer needs and suggest appropriate banking services to meet their financial goals.
  • Perform personal account opening, closing, and Certificate of Deposit (CD) renewals, among other tasks.
  • Serve as a backup to the Relationship Manager and maintain the ability to operate the branch independently, including operational and staff supervision, in the absence of the Relationship Manager.
  • Work at other branch locations as required, with Saturday availability a must.
Requirements
  • A minimum of an Associate's Degree, with a Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in a sales and/or service-oriented environment and prior cash handling experience required.
  • One to three years' experience in a customer-focused setting, with banking experience preferred.
  • A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task are essential.
