Come join our small knit group We are an established preschool with two locations in search of an enthusiastic and caring Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our preschool child care team and work with children ages 3-5yrs

10 hours per week
Additional add on hours may come available for staff coverage.

Jumper Bean is a New York State licensed facility. Here at Jumper Bean we have created an environment where children feel safe, eat well balanced organic meals, are encouraged to play, stay active, and learn about the environment.

Our program strives for excellence and provides the highest quality care to our children and their families. A Floating Assistant Preschool Teacher at our center will assist in implementing daily educational programs that are developmentally appropriate, help supervise the class, play with children outdoors, help with meal time, keep children safe, and maintain a clean and orderly room and Center.

Responsibilities:


  • Assist in Planning and presenting age appropriate activities for children ages 3-5yrs
  • Instruct children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
  • Create a fun and safe learning environment
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
  • Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
  • Maintain the health and safety of all students
  • Create a rich learning environment that is safe, educational and sanitary.
  • Meet the needs of the children such as: education, indoor and outdoor play, naptime, meals, social and emotional wellness.
  • Work well in a team setting
Qualifications:


  • High school diploma, G.E.D or Associates.
  • At least One Year experience related to caring for children
