Your duties encompass evaluating, servicing, and preparing AV equipment in accordance with Clearwing's stringent industry benchmarks. You will work alongside a vibrant team, aiding in the flawless execution of projects, tours, and events.
Core Responsibilities:
- Inspect, retrieve, maintain, sanitize, and organize equipment for various assignments/projects.
- Guide and assist fellow QA technicians to improve overall team productivity.
- Detect missing components in project lists, ensuring completeness.
- Support the assembly and disassembly of internal looms.
- Coordinate and load trucks effectively to ensure smooth equipment logistics.
- Lead a small team in-house to prepare and pack for events.
- Conduct repairs and updates to guarantee equipment reliability.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of racks for optimal performance.
- Utilize testing setups to prepare, maintain, and perform quality checks on equipment.
- Adhere to documentation guidelines to prepare events accurately.
- Collaborate on specific tour preparations, contributing to the success of live performances.
- Recognize the necessity to clean equipment, including cables, speakers, lights, hoists, etc.
- Provide support to other departments as workload requires.
Skills and Qualifications:
Analytical Skills: Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Professional Communication: Diplomatic, positive, and effective communicator (both verbal and written).
Work Ethic: Exhibits punctuality, dependability, self-motivation, and enthusiasm.
Time Management: Effectively operates within deadlines and consistently meets timelines.
Industry Awareness: Keeps up-to-date with industry standards and technologies.
Problem-Solving: Skilled in identifying and resolving issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- Four (4) years of experience in the production entertainment sector (preferred).
- Familiarity with Clearwing production inventory (preferred).
- OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications (preferred).
- Forklift Certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Demands:
- Regularly lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Climb heights of up to 12 feet.
- Stand for extended periods.
- Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery.
- Be available for on-call duties as necessary, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Willingness to work long hours and overtime as needed.
- Adapt to extreme weather conditions such as rain, heat, snow, humidity, dust, and loud noise.
