AMSYS Innovative Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our desktop computers, laptops, and other PC peripherals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Hardware and Software Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, and other PC peripherals, as well as remote access devices.
- Troubleshooting: Use advanced troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, including network, mainframe, and telecommunications problems.
- Documentation: Create and maintain accurate and detailed documentation of technical issues, resolutions, and knowledge base articles.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the infrastructure team to maintain, upgrade, and configure enterprise network and architecture solutions.
- Communication: Serve as a technical liaison to project managers, providing support and guidance on technical matters.
- On-Call Support: Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide off-hour support to end-users.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the technical support environment and collaborate with management to implement changes.
Requirements:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
- Skills: Strong technical skills, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Experience: Previous experience in a technical support role, with a strong understanding of desktop hardware and software, as well as network and telecommunications systems.
