Job Description

As a skilled Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician with Southwest JCB, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment fleet. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair various heavy equipment systems, including hydraulic, electrical, and drive train components
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on JCB equipment in a field environment
  • Document all processes and procedures for compliance with JCBNA warranty and best practices
  • Communicate effectively with customers and management to ensure top customer satisfaction
  • Become proficient with electronic systems, portals, tooling, and diagnostic resources to be effective in the role
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience repairing and maintaining construction equipment and/or diesel engines
  • Preferred competency in repairing and maintaining one of the following system types: Hydraulic, Electrical, or Drive Train (verified through certifications from previous employment)
  • Ability to weld (Stick, MIG, TIG) and use of a cutting torch, or the willingness and ability to learn these skills is a plus
  • A high school diploma or equivalent and basic math skills
  • Computer literate with the ability to process information, learn systems, and develop skills in the use of IT hardware
  • Ability to communicate, prioritize and maintain time management
