Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive plans and policies for community development and planning.
  • Lead the planning and community development team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the City Commission, City Manager, and other stakeholders to establish community development programs and policies.
  • Prepare and present policy reports to the City Commission on departmental activities.
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of subordinate personnel.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in urban planning, public administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in planning, housing, and community development.
  • Minimum of two years of supervisory experience.
