Deputy Warden

Job Summary:

The Deputy Warden - Support Services Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Support Services department at Lansing Correctional Facility (LCF). This includes food service, laundry operations, library, chaplaincy services, volunteer programs, activities, mailroom processes, and resident communication services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with contract partners providing food service and communication services at the facility.
• Regularly assess gaps/needs in the support services department and develop strategies to address the needs identified.
• Ensure that all services are delivered in a way to support the overall security of the facility services division.
• Provide planning guidelines and internal policy direction for areas of responsibility.

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in corrections, penology, criminal administration, sociology, social work, psychology, education, or public administration.
• Valid driver's license.
• Pass a drug screening test approved by the Division of Personnel Services.
