About the Role

Marmic Fire & Safety Company is seeking a highly skilled Sprinkler System Technician to join our team. As a key member of our fire protection team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing sprinkler systems in homes, commercial buildings, and other areas where fire safety is crucial.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain sprinkler systems, including pipe sizing, material selection, and system testing.
  • System Repair and Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and repair defective or damaged sprinkler systems, including wet/dry systems, fire pumps, and backflows.
  • System Design and Layout: Design and layout sprinkler systems, including pipe cutting and threading, and system testing.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including communicating with customers, vendors, and employees in a professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; NICET certification a plus.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in fire protection or a related field.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Backflow license preferred; valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to perform physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing over 50lbs.
