Job Title: Academic Instructor

Job Type: Part-time Faculty

Department: School of Health Sciences

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified Academic Instructor to teach General Physics courses at Lasell University. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, developing course materials, and assessing student learning.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach General Physics courses, including lectures, recitations, and labs
  • Develop and implement course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Physics or related field required; doctorate preferred
  • Experience teaching physics at the college level
  • Proficiency in maintaining an organized online course platform and delivering engaging course materials
