Job Description

We are hiring responsible and knowledgeable classroom instructors who want to make a positive impact on our students. As an instructor for our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade enrichment program in literacy and STEM, you will be working with highly motivated students who are eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities
  • Share your passion for learning and inspire students to reach their full potential
  • Be creative and professional in providing purposeful academic opportunities for all students
  • Maintain an accurate calendar and be available during the school day and after school throughout the work week
  • Work in-person on campus in Boston, Brookline, Concord, Lynnfield, Scituate, Somerville, and surrounding towns in Massachusetts
  • Provide timely and detailed notes after each session
  • Engage with the team and communicate openly and regularly with those who support you
Requirements
  • Be computer literate
  • Be reliable and punctual and live within a reasonable commute of our school partners, each 40 miles or less outside of Boston, Massachusetts
  • Know how to connect with your students
  • Have completed at least four years of college
  • Be preferably a certified teacher
  • Be eligible to work in the U.S. and can successfully complete a federal I-9 form and a national background check
What We Offer
  • Hourly rates starting at $35-40 per hour

  • All curriculum materials needed
  • Ability to complete sessions online in addition to in-person appointments (snow days)
