In the position of Assistant Golf Course Operations Manager, you will assist the Superintendent in overseeing the maintenance, operation, and management of the golf course, ensuring exceptional guest service and financial success. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the management and upkeep of the golf course and practice areas, including Greens, Tees, Fairways, Bunkers, and Natural Areas.
- Conducting inspections of facilities and supervising minor construction and course enhancements.
- Daily preparation of the Golf Course, including Cup cutting.
- Assisting in all aspects of mowing and course maintenance as needed.
- Monitoring irrigation systems, pest populations, and diseases to identify issues and propose solutions.
- Performing irrigation repairs and maintaining the Toro system, including daily hand watering.
- Applying fertilizers and chemicals as necessary.
- Assisting in the evaluation and development of team member performance, including supervision, scheduling, professional growth, and recognition.
