Job Title: Front Counter Parts Sales

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Front Counter Parts Salesperson to join our team at Peterson Trucks in S, CA.

Job Summary:

The Front Counter/Back Counter Parts Sales will be responsible for monitoring and providing sales coverage and support to our retail customers through direct and indirect channels. This includes generating parts sales to walk-in, call-in, and outbound calls for customers, as well as working with the sales team to grow existing customer accounts, facilitate lead generation, and qualify leads generated through other indirect channels.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Make a minimum of 25 outbound phone contacts per week.
  • Respond to the needs of walk-in customers to achieve sales volume goals.
  • Partner with Marketing, Product Support Sales Representative, and Sales Representatives to identify interested and qualified customers.
  • Contacts prospective customers to determine customer needs, present product information, and explain available specials and services.
  • Evaluate leads, effectively and efficiently, and determine whether to respond or pass the lead to sales resources management for assignment.
  • Follow all sales processes and procedures.
  • Partner with management to ensure marketing campaigns are directed to the right opportunities for retail customers.
  • Assist with customer surveys as needed.
  • Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.
Other Job Functions:
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
  • Display excellent communication skills, including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills required in working with customers/coworkers.
  • Respectfully take direction from supervisor/manager.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and a minimum of one year of experience in sales, preferably in a heavy industrial environment; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

May occasionally drive company or personal vehicle for work errands, and such possess a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
