Duties and Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, issue, and control production schedules, integrating multiple program requests into one executable schedule.
  • Resolve conflicts between competing programs for common resources.
  • Advise management of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems.
  • Create, maintain, and update network-based Master Production Schedules.
  • Understand critical path schedule network processing, driven by logic, durations, and date constraints.
  • Experience with IMP/IMS schedule structure and schedules based on Work Breakdown Structures.
  • Export schedule data to Excel and work with parties to gather and report schedule status and productivity metrics.
  • Identify critical and driving paths, and analyze resource loading schedules.
  • Familiarity with MRP/ERP and shop floor MES systems.
  • Motivated to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Analyze and design sequence of operations and workflow to improve efficiencies.
  • Develop and implement plans for cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to multitask and prioritize.
  • Strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Project.
  • Able to obtain/maintain a Top-Secret DoD clearance.
  • Experience on new programs.
  • Access to PLSC2.
