Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Exercise Support Cell Team Member to provide maintenance and repair support for Range 37 and Camp Mackall. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the operational readiness of the range and its facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general maintenance and repair services for Range 37 and Camp Mackall facilities
  • Perform tasks related to carpentry, woodworking, metalworking, and other industrial skills
  • Support the Exercise Support Cell in its mission to provide direct support to training activities
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure the successful execution of training exercises
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
  • Qualified in one of the following trades: carpenter, electrician, mason, welder, plumber, wheeled vehicle mechanic, grounds maintenance, or roofing
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Fluent English language skills
  • No current or pending legal action that may hinder job performance
  • Ability to work in an austere field environment during all weather conditions
  • Ability to communicate effectively using various radio systems
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to operate Army Motor Vehicles and civilian equivalents
  • Ability to navigate using military or civilian maps and directions
  • Ability to ensure the health and safety of personnel participating in exercises
Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
  • Ability to perform tasks in various environmental conditions (heat, cold, humidity, etc.)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
