Join Our Team as an Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Suburban Hospital, a part of Johns Hopkins HealthCare. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries or illnesses and regain their independence.

About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist, you will work under the direct supervision of the Team Coordinator and/or Clinical Specialist, and leadership of the Rehab Therapy Services Inpatient Manager. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Using objective evaluation techniques to assess the occupational limitations and medical condition of patients
  • Prescribing and implementing a treatment program designed to return patients to their maximum level of function
  • Working collaboratively with all members of the multidisciplinary health care team to maximize patient and team outcomes
  • Promoting improvement in service, department, and hospital systems to benefit patient care
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Completion of a Bachelor of Science, Master's Degree, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited academic program
  • Successful completion of clinical internships as required by the academic program
  • 3 years of Occupational Therapist experience required
  • Current State licensure as an Occupational Therapist required
  • AHA Healthcare Provider CPR required
