Job Title: Home Health Occupational Therapist

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Home Health Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their goals and maintain their independence in the comfort of their own homes.

Job Summary:
  • Provide occupational therapy services to clients in their homes, focusing on improving their functional abilities and promoting independence.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address clients' needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and caregivers to ensure understanding and adherence to treatment plans.
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
  • Current Maryland Occupational Therapist license.
  • Minimum of one year of recent work experience as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Graduation from an occupational therapy program accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
