Oncology Nurse Coordinator

Are you a dedicated and compassionate nurse looking to make a real impact in the lives of patients with cancer? Research Medical Center is seeking a skilled Charge Nurse RN Oncology Outpatient Clinic to join our team.
About the RoleAs a Charge Nurse RN Oncology Outpatient Clinic, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care, managing staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, patient-centered care and support to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
- Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
- Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- ONS Chemotherapy Provider certification is preferred.
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification is preferred.
- Registered Nurse (RN) diploma is required.
