Education Program Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Education Program Director to join our team at the Boys & Girls Club Crescent Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and supervising activities and programs focused on education and youth development.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement curriculum to promote educational enhancement and prepare youth for the future.
- Provide guidance and role modeling to members, promoting positive relationships and a safe environment.
- Design and implement colorful and informative displays and bulletin boards to promote program areas.
- Assist in the execution of national projects and exhibits, and mentor and inspire youth, adults, and volunteers in the creative process.
- Keep records of participants, schedules, attendance, and program results, and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
- Participate in mandatory First Aid/CPR training and other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Youth Development or a related field, and 3-4 years of program delivery experience.
- College Degree in Education or a related field, and 1-2 years of program delivery experience for non-certified teachers/school staff.
- Ability to deal effectively with staff and youth, demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills, and knowledge of youth development.
- BI-LINGUAL IN ENGLISH/SPANISH IS A PLUS.
- Understand the Clubs' philosophy, vision, and goals, and ability to establish and cultivate positive relationships with youth.
The Education Program Director will work in after-school/recreational settings, both indoors and outdoors, and may be required to work occasional weekends to support the organization's fundraising events and activities.
BenefitsThe Boys & Girls Club Crescent Region offers a competitive hourly rate of $25 for Certified Teachers and $17 for Education Specialists/School Staff.
