  • Employ systems thinking to architect solutions, educate others, elicit adoption, develop, and implement.
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders of varying technical expertise to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Research and recommend systems, equipment, and technologies through the collection and analysis of data.
  • Provide aftercare to clients and disparate teams, including integration support for previously installed software and programs.
  • Design and architect solutions of high quality and reliability.
  • Install, configure, integrate, document, and support software and systems.
  • Manage, monitor, and tune systems and networks.
  • Provide escalation support for assigned technologies as needed.
  • Analyze existing operations and make recommendations for improvement and development of relevant IT systems.
  • Communicate with vendors and service providers to gain a clear understanding of product or service capabilities and costs.
  • Collaborate with service providers and external vendors on root cause analysis for problems related to technology.
  • Communicate in written and verbal forms to all levels of the organization on service issues and plans.
  • Ensure systems security and vulnerability remediation for applicable tools integration.
  • Stay current on new technologies and integrate them into existing systems.
  • Perform Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs) to help the government determine the best available solution to meet its requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Science/Information Systems Technology.
  • Ten (10) years of experience with engineering within Enterprise Hosting Environments.
  • Five (5) years of technical experience in support of Enterprise Hosting.
  • Ability to derive results from teams without direct authority.
  • Ability to receive direction yet work independently as a solution owner.
  • Ability to proactively identify potential issues and provide recommended solutions.
  • Ability to perform API integration using Python, BASH, PowerShell, or similar.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented to ensure a high level of quality/accuracy.
  • Significant experience with two or more of the following technical areas: Python, BASH, PowerShell, Splunk Enterprise, REST/SOAP API Integrations, OpenRMF or STIG Manager, Ansible (Tower), Puppet, Chef, Terraform, Containerization, Jenkins, or similar.
  • Understanding of regular expressions (Regex).
  • Experience with Confluence and/or JIRA.
  • 8570 compliance required (Sec+ and OS Certification).
  • Active secret level government clearance or higher required.
  • Annual travel required.
