Key Responsibilities- Assessment: Collect and analyze data to complete a comprehensive nursing assessment, identifying patient priorities and developing an individualized plan of care.
- Planning and Outcomes: Develop and implement a culturally sensitive and evidence-based plan of care, collaborating with the patient, family, and healthcare team to achieve measurable outcomes.
- Implementation: Provide direct care to assigned patients, utilizing known resources and technology to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
- Evaluation: Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of the plan of care, revising as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Patient and Family Education: Identify and assess patient learning needs, providing education and teaching to promote health and wellness.
- Professional Accountability: Maintain competency through education and professional activities, ensuring that written documentation and oral communication focus on pertinent information to support patient care needs.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina
- Successful completion of the Prisma Health Nurse Residency Program or comparable residency
This is a variable shift position that requires flexibility and adaptability. As a member of our team, you will be working in a fast-paced acute inpatient setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
