Job Responsibilities
  • Operate ultrasound units to perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Prepare ultrasound rooms and maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Interview and screen patients, explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort and understanding.
  • Perform, coordinate, and supervise patient testing services, ensuring accurate and timely results.
  • Ensure all equipment, supplies, and records are available for patient care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, addressing their concerns and needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Assist in research projects and contribute to the development of new procedures and protocols.
  • Communicate equipment problems and image quality issues to ensure optimal patient care.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
  • ARDMS or RDMS certification.
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or board eligible.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in ultrasonography preferred.
