Job Responsibilities- Operate ultrasound units to perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Prepare ultrasound rooms and maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Interview and screen patients, explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort and understanding.
- Perform, coordinate, and supervise patient testing services, ensuring accurate and timely results.
- Ensure all equipment, supplies, and records are available for patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, addressing their concerns and needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Assist in research projects and contribute to the development of new procedures and protocols.
- Communicate equipment problems and image quality issues to ensure optimal patient care.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
- CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
- ARDMS or RDMS certification.
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or board eligible.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in ultrasonography preferred.
