The Ultrasound Radiographer is a critical member of our team, responsible for performing all Ultrasound examinations. This role requires a high level of expertise and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating Ultrasound units with precision and accuracy
  • Preparing ultrasound rooms and maintaining a clean and organized environment
  • Interviewing and screening patients prior to examinations, explaining procedures and answering questions
  • Performing, coordinating, and supervising patient testing services
  • Ensuring all equipment, supplies, and records are available for patient care
  • Educating and supporting patients and their families through telephone consultation, office visits, and hospital visits
  • Assisting in research projects as requested by the Division
  • Communicating equipment problems and image quality issues
  • Packaging and sending genetic specimens
