Access Dubuque is seeking a dedicated Neurosurgery Advanced Practice Provider to enhance our healthcare team.
Position Summary
As a vital member of our medical staff, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of a new practice in a supportive environment. This full-time role encompasses both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage an average of 10-15 outpatient consultations daily and 3-5 inpatient cases.
- Work within clinic hours, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
- Participate in backup call and weekend rounds as needed after training.
- Collaborate with physicians in the operating room and assist in surgical procedures.
- Evaluate and coordinate patient information to inform care decisions.
- Demonstrate a patient-centered approach, fostering teamwork to enhance community health.
- Exhibit strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Preferred qualifications include a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with surgical experience.
- Must be board certified and possess an unrestricted medical license.
- Eligible to prescribe medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
