Mechanical Packaging Specialist

**About the Job:**
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Packaging Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing electronic enclosures and packages for various applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development: Assess technical risk and cost for new business proposals, review customer product requirements, and transform them into functional and ergonomic designs.
- Component Selection: Select critical electrical and mechanical components to meet functional and aesthetic design requirements, and work with vendors to specify requirements for mass production.
- Engineering Analysis: Perform Engineering Analysis including Tolerance Stack-up, FEA (structural, modal, and thermal), and Hand Calculations.
- Prototype Development: Create, execute, and document prototype test plans to assure product quality and confirm fabrication, assembly, and installation techniques.
Requirements:
- Education: BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field.
- Experience: 5-10 years of experience in mechanical product design, electronic packaging, and enclosure design.
- Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor, experience with sheet metal design, FEA analysis, tolerance stack-ups, RF design, and prototype design.
Estimated Salary: $62,000 - $76,000 per year, depending on experience.
