Job Summary

The Office of Audit and Compliance (OAC) is seeking an experienced IT Audit Manager – Information Security to provide quality assurance and advisory services to the University. The successful candidate will have a strong background in IT audit, information security operations, and IT management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute information assurance and advisory projects, including IT operations audits and advisory services.
  • Design and conduct audits, interviews, and document processes to evaluate risks and controls.
  • Evaluate audit findings, determine root causes, and develop recommendations based on leading practices.
  • Prepare professional audit reports summarizing observations, recommendations, and management responses.
  • Plan, supervise, and communicate with project stakeholders.

Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in IT audit, information security operations, IT management, or related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze technology systems and processes, apply critical thinking, and use sound business judgment.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to achieve audit objectives on multiple, complex projects.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, time management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, including preparing and presenting clear and concise reports to stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in IT and/or information security operations, effective client management, and service delivery.
  • Advanced degree in information systems, business, or related field.
  • Knowledge of University operations and/or experience in higher education.
