Position: Mechanical Assembly Technician
Compensation: Up to $22/hr
As a Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly of various components including hitches, shelves, and drawers. Your role will also involve the installation of essential accessories such as ladder racks, mud flaps, and back-up cameras. Additionally, you may be required to provide training to mechanics as necessary and manage tasks related to hazardous materials. Other responsibilities will be assigned by your Supervisor or Manager.
Required Skills- Fundamental mechanical understanding
- Basic welding capabilities
- Knowledge of electrical wiring
- Familiarity with hydraulic systems
- Proficiency in operating power hand tools
- Experience in wiring or hydraulics is preferred
- Ability to mentor and train others
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective problem-solving skills
ASE Certification is preferred and may be necessary for higher tier positions.
Job TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire role with a duration of 3 months.
Work EnvironmentThis position is fully on-site. The work environment is non-climate controlled, operating on the first shift from 7 AM to 5 PM.
