Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to established health and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Ensure all food products are prepared, stored, and served at the correct temperatures.
- Rotate, label, and date all products to ensure freshness and quality.
- Use proper utensils and portion sizes to maintain consistency and efficiency.
- Keep work areas clean, sanitized, and organized to maintain a smooth workflow.
- Communicate with management to ensure timely and accurate food preparation and service.
- Restock paper supplies and food items as needed to maintain inventory levels.
- Assist other team members as required to ensure seamless service.
- Perform opening and closing procedures as outlined in the Employee Training Manual.
- May be assigned to work multiple stations throughout the shift to ensure flexibility and adaptability.
- Implement and follow sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and/or serving areas.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- 6 months+ experience in food preparation in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to interact verbally and listen attentively to colleagues and supervisors.
- Capacity to follow written and oral direction.
- Ability to work under pressure and independently, practicing safe work habits and following all safety policies and procedures.
