Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Pre-Op/Phase II department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough preoperative assessments of patients awaiting surgery
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care and education to patients and families
  • Supervise and mentor LPNs in direct patient care functions
  • Participate in performance improvement activities and maintain Joint Commission standards

Requirements:

  • Current state license as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum of two years of experience in an acute hospital setting
  • CPR (BLS) certification
  • ACLS and PALS certification within six months of hire
  • Prior working knowledge of electronic medical records
