Job Summary:

OrthoNebraska is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Pre/Post-Op team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

Perform initial and ongoing assessments to determine patient care needs
Develop, review, and revise individualized plans of care to address patient needs
Evaluate patient care to determine response to interventions for optimal patient outcomes
Perform technical skills competently and independently to ensure patient safety
Maintain a professional behavior in attitudes, demeanor, and interactions to achieve organizational mission

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Nebraska and other states as required
Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS) required
1-2 years of perioperative, medical-surgical, or PACU experience preferred

Physical Demands:

This position is classified as Medium Work, requiring the exertion of 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Must be able to pass background check and pre-employment physical and drug testing.
