Position Overview

This role presents a contract opportunity that may lead to direct employment with a globally recognized design, engineering, and project management firm.

Compensation
Hourly pay ranges from $45 to $60.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather, organize, and interpret data from various sources including construction sites, surveys, technical drawings, and reports for inspection activities across multiple projects.
  • Conduct thorough inspections on projects of varying complexity, assessing site conditions, materials, and compliance with established standards and regulations.
  • Provide expert consultation on project progress and issue resolution; may serve as the primary inspector or assist in managing inspection activities for larger projects.
  • Perform initial assessments during the construction phase and follow up with inspections until project completion, delivering comprehensive reports on findings.
  • Participate in pre-construction discussions, addressing inquiries from contractors and stakeholders.
  • Draft detailed technical reports summarizing inspection results, utilizing photographs, sketches, and various documentation tools.
  • Support the analysis and interpretation of inspection data, contributing to the development of action plans for construction and environmental management.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • At least 10 years of applicable experience in construction inspection.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction codes, compliance standards, and documentation practices.
  • Proficient in technical calculations and the application of construction inspection principles.
