Job Summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking a skilled Electrical Controls Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical control systems for our industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical control systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for electrical control systems
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical control systems design and implementation
  • Strong knowledge of electrical control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and motion control systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Experience with Rockwell Automation and Siemens control systems
  • Knowledge of NFPA 70 and 70E standards
