This is an exciting opportunity to join the Department of Veterans Affairs as a Registered Nurse. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with various medical conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices to provide evidence-based care.
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or the District of Columbia.
- Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by one of the following accrediting bodies: The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
