The Utility Worker plays a crucial role in ensuring a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, which includes all dishes, utensils, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Uphold the sanitary condition of all kitchen items and workspaces in accordance with our established standards.
  • Efficiently operate dishwashing machinery while adhering to the procedural guidelines.
  • Ensure the correct application of soap and rinse chemicals during the washing process.
  • Identify and remove any damaged or broken kitchenware from service.
  • Assist in stocking food and non-food supplies as they arrive.
  • Regularly empty and maintain garbage receptacles and manage the breakdown of packaging materials.
  • Conduct deep cleaning of kitchen areas and equipment as needed.
  • Participate in all required training and in-service workshops.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace at all times.
  • Perform all tasks in compliance with our operational standards.
  • Contribute to a safe working environment by preventing accidents and ensuring proper equipment use.
  • Exhibit a positive and professional attitude towards residents, visitors, and colleagues.
  • Must be at least 18 years old or possess a valid work permit.
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen setting is advantageous.
  • Must successfully pass a state and federal background check as well as a drug screening.
