Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Shriners Children's Hospital. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures for pediatric patients, with a focus on orthopedic, spinal cord injury, and burn care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine imaging procedures for pediatric patients, including orthopedic, spinal cord injury, and burn care.
  • Verify patient identification and confirm radiology orders prior to imaging.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures.
  • Utilize positioning equipment and radiation safety protocols to minimize patient exposure.
  • Document imaging procedures and results accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) licensure.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Preferred qualifications include recent work experience with Three-Phase x-ray imaging equipment, 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience, and previous acute care experience as a radiologic technologist using both portable and C-arm equipment.
