About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast. As a CT Technologist Reg PRN, you will play a vital role in ensuring the technical quality of CT exams and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for CT exams, explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Operate CT scanners and other medical equipment to produce high-quality images.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Current licensure by the Texas Department of Health as an MRT is required.
  • Current registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) is required.
  • Previous experience in CT in a clinic or hospital setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
