Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at the University of California, Irvine. As a key member of our interventional radiology department, you will assist physicians in performing minimally invasive and invasive fluoroscopic guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians in performing complex vascular and non-vascular procedures, including cardiovascular, electrophysiology, endovascular, and neurological interventions.
  • Set up pre-procedural equipment, operate radiology and support equipment, and maintain a sterile field during procedures.
  • Assist with image archive management and documentation for supply management, billing, and procedural documentation.
  • Participate in the training of less senior Radiologic Technologists and students.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year experience working as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • CRT license/certification.
  • CDHP Radiologic Technologist Fluoroscopy permit.
  • Ability to maintain flexibility and work well in a constantly changing environment.
  • ARRT license/certification.
  • ACLS certification upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge and practice of hemodynamic monitoring, EKG, and pressure waveforms.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience working in more than one specialized radiology setting.
  • Experience working in a Hybrid Operating Room Setting.
  • Experience with electrophysiology procedures.
  • Experience in a wide array of interventional technology and possible applications as well as current generation fixed fluoroscopic equipment, 3D, and virtual CT capabilities, and post-processing.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiation Science.
