About the Job

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Private Duty Nurse LPN, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a variety of settings, including private homes and community-based facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
  • Continuously observe and assess patient condition and care needs, reporting changes to the supervisor and/or physician as appropriate.
  • Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care in a timely manner.
  • Participate in and update the nursing care plan.
  • Take appropriate nursing action based on assessment and achieve expected outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Six (6) months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting.
  • Home health experience.
