Child Start, Inc., a leading provider of early childhood education and family support services, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee the operations of our Head Start center in Wichita, Kansas.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of passionate staff members in delivering high-quality comprehensive services to children aged 0-5 years.
- Maintain compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and Kansas Child Care Licensing regulations.
- Provide a nurturing and engaging environment for children and families.
- Bachelor's Degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Management, Human Services, or a related field.
- Kansas Program Director's Approval for up to 100 children aged 0-5.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Head Start or other early childhood education program.
- Proven leadership experience, preferably with at least 1 year of supervising staff.
- Strong knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards and Kansas Child Care Licensing regulations.
- Ability to effectively gather, analyze, and utilize data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds regularly.
