Solaris Health is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at UroPartners and Urologic Specialists of Northwest Indiana. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our medical team.
Key Responsibilities- Administrative Duties:
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the clinic's calendar
- Verify patient information and demographics
- Process patient check-in and check-out procedures
- Manage patient records and maintain accurate filing systems
- Financial Responsibilities:
- Collect co-pays and patient balances
- Verify insurance coverage and process claims
- Prepare and send financial statements and invoices
- Communication:
- Answer phone calls and direct messages to staff members
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and medical professionals
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; one year certificate from college or technical school preferred
- Experience: Three to six months related experience and/or training
- Skills: Professional attitudes, excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment
