We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Specialist to join our team at LGTC Group, a renowned provider of ambulatory Partial Hospitalization (PHP) / Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome new clients and facilitate their introduction to the treatment team.
- Assess client needs and communicate them effectively to the treatment team.
- Contribute valuable insights to support client behavior, mood, and healing process.
- Promote positive behaviors by modeling healthy habits during meal times.
- Serve as a role model for clients through dress, grooming, communication, and behavior.
- Facilitate therapeutic groups on coping skills, relapse prevention, DBT, psychoeducation, and life skills.
- Support discharge planning and transition processes.
- Participate in weekly multi-disciplinary team meetings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
- Preferred: One year of experience in mental health, counseling, or the eating disorder field.
- Commitment to ongoing training and education.
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum
