About the Role

Jackson Spalding is a public relations and marketing agency that helps brands break through to earn measurable audience attention, affinity, and action. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team and gain valuable experience in the industry.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent writing skills, resourcefulness, and strong organizational skills. They will be responsible for media pitching, writing press releases, participating in brainstorming sessions, and constant communication with team members.

As an intern at Jackson Spalding, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our professional team, attend client meetings, and be responsible for projects assigned according to your level of experience and skill set. Internships are paid, typically three to six months in length, and may lead to full-time employment.

Requirements:

  • Senior working towards a B.S or B.A degree or a recent graduate
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Resourcefulness, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
  • Basic time, budget, and project management skills with a preference for Asana skillsets
  • Experience with social and traditional media and ability to monitor both
  • Technical skills include mid to high-level knowledge of Microsoft Office software including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus

What to Expect:

As a Jackson Spalding intern, you will experience the daily rhythm of agency client work. You will work side-by-side with our professional team, attend client meetings, and be responsible for projects assigned according to your level of experience and skill set.
