The Role

We are seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance team. The Maintenance team troubleshoots, maintains, and continually improves our Industrial Automation equipment, ensuring our farms and offices are always operating at their best.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow preventive maintenance procedures on all plant equipment in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Maintain the operation of equipment and systems of the farm and offices, including compressed air, HVAC, plumbing, electrical distribution, controls, lighting, PLCs, conveyors, and other automated machinery.
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes.
  • Communicate common failure modes and suggest corrective actions to eliminate root causes.
  • Partner with the Engineering and Safety teams in planning, ordering, installing, and training for new equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and perform diagnostics on damaged or malfunctioning equipment; make repairs where necessary.
  • Make recommendations to the Maintenance Manager to arrange for outside vendors to service equipment.
  • Respond to facility emergency situations and be a part of the safety team that promotes safe and healthy work culture.
  • Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives as it relates to building operations and practice safe work habits and escalate known safety concerns to the Maintenance Manager or the Health & Safety Manager.
  • Occasionally move items weighing up to 50 pounds across the facility.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of maintenance work experience.
  • Strong mechanical skills on electric motors, vacuum pumps, air compressors, HVAC, etc.
  • Ability to accurately follow operation manuals, manufacturing and installation instructions, sketches, blueprints, and diagrams.
  • Must be willing to work evening and weekend shifts on occasion or rotating basis, able to work flexible hours, and be part of the on-call rotation.
