Role Overview:

  • Engage in software integration and architectural planning for various subsystems of the robot.
  • Convert product specifications into operational software solutions.
  • Create diagnostic tools to assess the performance of both software and hardware components.
  • Establish Continuous Integration and Deployment methodologies.
  • Refine the software development ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with fellow Robotics Software Engineers to design inter-module interfaces.
  • Enhance reliability during testing and initial deployment phases.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in software engineering focused on mobile robotics.
  • Strong proficiency in Linux, ROS/ROS2, C++, Python, and various scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with sensors, simulation environments, and embedded firmware.
  • Knowledge of communication protocols and data buses.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a startup environment.
  • Familiarity with the ROS Navigation Stack.
  • Background in Agile methodologies and test-driven development.
  • Comfort with laboratory instruments.
  • Experience with IoT and connected technologies.
