Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Flow Cytometry Clinical Laboratory Scientist to join our team at Yosemite Pathology Medical Group Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing daily Flow Cytometry and Hematology test procedures on bone marrow and tissue specimens.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare specimens for testing and monitor any specimen issues while following appropriate corrective action.
  • Process specimens for flow cytometry, stains processed specimens using monoclonal antibodies, and acquires data on the flow cytometer.
  • Maintain documentation for QC and maintenance of all equipment in the Flow Cytometry Laboratory including cleaning and calibration of all instruments.
  • Prepare and maintain all solutions, reagents, and cocktails according to laboratory procedures.
  • Follow all Laboratory procedures pertaining to proper specimen handling and processing and maintains accurate and complete records of all testing performed in accordance with CAP and CLIA regulations.
Requirements
  • Licensed in the State of CA to perform high complexity testing (California CLS license).
  • 1-3 years of equivalent experience (high complexity testing).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of general laboratory protocols and techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
